I sat signing papers of different company sanctions and sending emails to different people. Neil had turned away and gone. When ever I thought of it my heart ached. Tears iched my eyes but somehow I managed to control them. And then there was Nesha to who I had to lie, that her dad had gone for only a few days.

There was a lump in my throat.

Why was it so difficult?

Why couldn't we be together? Why?

Now I wanted him to be and he managed to leave me and go again. Does he not understand how much I need him?

I sat silently as I stopped my work. I shut my eyes in pain when suddenly there was a hurried knock at the door.

"Come in.", I said completely tired.

"Ma'am–", it was an employee, most probably the person who Neil had asked to get his tickets ready.

"Yes?", I asked trying to sound normal.

"Ma'am, Mr. Parker–", his voice broke away as if he was about to give some bad news. I immediately sat up and asked,
