ISIS’S POV

I saw Phoenix stagger to the room like she had been beaten by rain or hit by a car. She was practically exhausted from god knows what. My eyes trailed her as she headed to our room and I tried my best to keep shut. She wasn’t looking like one who wanted to answer any questions. Moreover, I had my thoughts and problems to deal with as well. So, I kept shut and saw Phoenix off to our room with my eyes.

But then, I couldn’t help but wonder. “Where is Phoenix coming from? “I asked myself. “Could she have found the father of her baby?” I shook my head in negative affirmation to what I had just said. Not that it was not possible but then, Phoenix would never hide the excitement when it occurs. So, I silenced the thought. “Could she be ill? She looked pale and sickly” I muttered under my breath. Then, I drew in a long breath and shrugged my shoulders.

‘’ Phoenix and her every day drama, she might just be exhausted. Nothing more” I concluded.
