Isis returned to an empty home after a long day at work. “Phoenix…” she called out as she took off her heels and threw in the living room. There was no response. Isis headed to the kitchen as that was the normal spot where Phoenix could be whenever she called and got no response. Unfortunately, Phoenix wasn’t there. She went over to their room calling out her name. “Phoenix! Phoenix! ”there was no response. Isis was angst-ridden. She heaved a sigh and went back to the kitchen fixed herself some food and returned to the dining to eat.

Throughout the night, she couldn’t get off the thought of where Phoenix could be. Her greatest fear was the baby she was carrying. Isis couldn’t imagine anything bad happening to the child. She grabbed her phone and dialled Phoenix’s number. But then, it was unreachable so she dropped a voice message for her. With a heart full of thoughts, Isis managed to doze off.

Soon, it was morning, exactly 6:00 am when Isis’s alarm rang making her jump out of bed.
