27: Crossing the line

“That’s not my fault,” he argued, stepping into his office. The musicians were nowhere to be found, even though I had handed him a list of those whose services would be needed at the parlour over four hours ago.

“Neither is it mine.” I groaned, “you’re here today. The least you can do is to be a part of the parlour you own!” I slammed. “yet, here you are, failing at the simplest of tasks!”

“Do not speak to me in that tone, lady!”

I gave him a stern look and crossed my arms over my chest. “Or else what?”

“Or else I’m going to bend that tempting ass of yours over my desk and spank it hard, just like you deserve.”

Shivers ran down my spine and my core clenched on seeing the picture he just painted.

A small gasp escaped my mouth and my nipples hardened underneath the thin fabric I had on, displaying the effect his words had on me.
