We arrived at Chipotle, as Daniel suggested, to grab ourselves something to eat. We sat inside the restaurant as Miguel ordered us some burritos at the counter. Miguel and Daniel almost argued about who was going to pay for the foods. Not because no one was willing to treat us, but because both of them offered to pay for it. So we had an arrangement that Miguel would pay for mine and Daniel would pay for Kourtney. And since this was a Mexican restaurant, Miguel initiated to order the foods.

I gulped. I didn’t move a muscle and I just gawked at Miguel whose face became unreadable. Daniel caressed my arm with his thumb and I didn’t know how I would react in this situation.
