Chapter 12
LUNA POV
The sun is as hot as a burning fire today. Matilda invited me to help her pick some flowers in the garden. My body still aches a little after what happened in the woods yesterday. Thanks to Matilda, her cream was effective. My wounds are getting better now.
From a distance, I saw Stefan, Francis, and Hector talking. I wonder what they are talking about as they all wear a serious look this morning. I remember last night how Hector slept on the couch since I am in his bed the whole night. He asked if I would invite him to sleep with me in the bed. He was teasing me. Instead, of answering him last night, I just made myself comfortable in bed and slept. Well, if he only knew how interested I am to sleep with him in the bed. But he was the king of all womanizers, I will never fall for him. Never in this life.
"The flowers are beautiful Matilda. Did you plant all these?" I inquired.
"Not me Luna. It was Hector's mom. Ysabelle loves this garden so much.

LUNA POV He was stunned by my question. Maybe, there is nothing wrong if I asked him if he likes me. I felt ashamed of myself after I uttered the question. I saw his jaw clenched and he sat straight. LUNA POV As our lips touched, I could feel the softness of his lips. I felt the butterflies in my stomach cheering. How I wished this would never end. As his lips moved away, I wanted to hold him back and kiss his sweets lips one more time. I can see his eyes full of desire. "Rest now, I think you drank a lot," he told me as he slowly approached the door and left. That was it, he just kissed me again for no reason and after everything, he will just walk away and leave me with no words. I tried to compose myself and made myself comfortable in bed. My head started to ache. How I wish I could be like Elli, able to drink wine and beer as much as she could. I started to miss my best friend. How I wish she is safe right now. I don't remember anymore the time I slept. I tried to open my eyes and looked around to see if Hector came back. As expected, he wasn't here. Maybe he didn't come back anymore after that kiss. Well, I enjoyed that kiss.

LUNA POVI felt my body shaking in fear and cold as the downpour starts. What now? Is this how my life would end? I looked around to see a stick and reached for it. I pointed it to the werewolf as a warning not to go near me. I am truly the queen of all idiots for using a stick as a weapon. LUNA POVI felt the warm blanket wrapped around my body, I tried to open my eyes and saw a glimpse of light that greeted me through the opening of this cave. LUNA POVI am in Hector's car now. I got the chance to sleep for more than two hours since we arrived in that hotel this morning. Hector woke me up to join him for lunch. We ate some kinds of seafood and the taste was amazing.Looking from the outside, I am enjoying the beauty of this place. Hector told me that we were in Astoria. The seaside town of Astoria borders both the Pacific Ocean and the Columbia River in far northwest Oregon. I can see the antique streets with several visitor magnets, like restaurants and boutiques. We also passed by the Captain George Flavel House Museum and the Oregon Film Museum. I've never been to this place before. Hector stopped the car. As I went out of the car, I was amazed at the beauty of this place. From where I am standing, I can see other houses and small buildings in this town. I also saw a perfect view of the ocean. LUNA POVI leaned closer to him as we share a deep, passionate kiss. I should have fought the urge to kiss him back but, here I am giving him full access to my mouth.
