Everyone was enjoying the feast in the royal court so, they missed the menacing aura led out by King Raleigh and Prince Satchell. Both were staring at each other like they wanted to kill each other. If only stares could kill, there would be bloodbath going inside the court hall. Ives felt like he was crushed between two large stones with how both were behaving with each other. he thought it would be better if he went away from here. Ives looked at his teacher who was now free. He then bowed and said, "Your highness, I remember the task given by my teacher so, I will be taking my leave. Have a nice time."
King Raleigh looked at Ives and immediately understood he was trying to leave the party. His worsened mood immediately improved and said, "Hm. You can leave." He then leaned near Ives's ear and whispered, "Wait for me in the palace."
Ives just nodded his head and was about to go and he was again stopped by ki

After Ives's short talk with Prince Satchell, he went inside his study room to study. He had been learning about more traditional medicinal herbs and poisons for a cure. His teacher Judas also had been teaching him alchemy after discovering his talent in making medicines and his knowledge about those plants. His teacher had given him the assignment to collect some plants which could be found in the forests of the Raven. But to go out of the royal palace, he needed the permission of his highness but his highness was busy attending the court. So, he just started to study for some time until his highness arrived. Ives was returning back as it was already begun to grow dark. The two shadow guards were walking very far behind him not disturbing him. The place where he went was remote and none could be seen far far away. After collecting all the plants he required, he was walking back to his carriage. As he was about to enter inside the carriage, the arrow struck right beside his head on the carriage door missing an inch. Sweat flowed from his head as he gulped his saliva in fear. If he was just an inch right, that arrow would have pierced his head. He turned back to see where the arrow flew from. The two shadow guards were also alert. Soon they were surrounded by more than 12 bandits who had swords with them. Ives stood like a statue panicked. "Young master, please go inside the carriage. We'll handle them." One of the guards said. "What about you guys?" Ives a
Lord Nedes was aware of everything happening in the court and smiled drinking a sip of wine. Everything was going according to his plan and soon his plan would bear its sweet fruit. Although the arrival of prince Satchell wasn't in his plan still it wouldn't affect his plan. Lady Blaine came and sat in front of him. "How are you, my dear?" Lord Nedes asked. "I want to say you something bad." Lady Blaine replied with a sour expression. Lord Nedes sat straight and asked, "Did someone bully you?" "No, it isn't that. It's about prince Satchell." "What about him?" "I think he loves Ives." "What? How can you be so sure?" "I just saw his highness and prince fighting for Ives." Lord Nedes shows an amused expression, "What is he? Collecting men here and there."
The days were passing by quickly and the day which Ives hated and was anxious for finally arrived. It was finally the day of the engagement of King Raleigh Kainz and lady Blaine Sherwood. All of the royal family members and the members of the Sherwood family were also present. Prince Satschell looked around and saw Ives sitting at the front table and smiled at him winking his eye. Ives also smiled back looking at him. Prince Satchell was lost for a while seeing that heavenly smile and he could feel his heart rushing. He knew Ives loved only his highness but also he couldn't stop himself from falling in love with Ives every time he saw him. He couldn't control his heart but for his situation, it was like he was already rejected before he could confess. But prince Satchell still was satisfied being his fr
BEFORE THE DAY OF THE ENGAGEMENT At the Sherwood mansion inside the bedroom of Lord Nedes, the two persons were sitting beside each other. Both of them were silent. They were Lord Nedes and his wife. Lord Nedes eyebrows were furrowed as he read the contents of the documents given by his wife. He sighed then looked to his wife who he had been married to for more than fourteen years. "Are you sure about this?" "Yes, Just sign it." His wife replied. It was the paper of divorce between him and his wife. It also said after the divorce they would have no relation to each other and were not responsible for reach other's actions. They would be separated like they haven't even married. "Why do want a divorce? We've been married this long. Is there any problem?" Lord Nedes's wife snorted at that. She narrowed her eyes angrily at him.
