“ Good morning my princess” Howard's unwanted and annoying husky voice woke Diana up first thing in the morning as he greeted her. She groaned as she felt a slight headache build just by being in the same room as him. It was weird, Darryl didn't visit her dreams last night and his voice had been eerily silent in her mind. She wished he was the one in front of her instead of the obnoxious Beta currently staring at her.

She opened her eyes and adjusted to the light coming from the sunlight that penetrated the room. She remembered she fell asleep in the living room after Brittany had left her with the keys to the storage room where her brother had kept Decanal. Howard must have carried her to the bedroom. She hoped he didn't sleep on the same bed.
