“So he is your cousin?” asked Kashan. “No,” she said instantly.

“Then?” he asked, curious.

“Our parents were friends,” she said.

“Oh, so that’s how you are living here. Where are your parents?” he asked.

“My mum is dead,” she said, sadly.

“Oh, sorry, I am sorry for your loss,” he said while looking inside her eyes. She looked so tense and upset.

“No, it’s okay, I do miss my mom in my life, but I never met her, she died shortly after I was born,” she said while wiping her tears away.

“And your dad?” he asked.

“I don’t know, grandma has never said a word about him, maybe he is dead as well,” she said.

He took a deep breath.

“Come on, let's go up, the girls must have finished writing by now,” she said, and walked towards her room in order to change topic. Her room was across from Roman’s. There was loud music playing in the room. She took a deep breath while passing by his room, followed by Kashan.
