Chapter 26

"I'll miss you." I sob as Bryson, Uncle Ty and I stand in front of Bryson's dorm on campus.

"I'll miss you too, pickles." He laughs, poking on my cheeks.

"I don't understand why your break has to end so soon." I sniff. "They said two months but all they could let you spend was a month." I grumble, refusing to let go of his arm.

"That's fucked." He mutters jokingly. But I could see right through him.

"Really fucked." 

"I don't think Bryson can get in if you keep clinging onto him like that, Iris." Uncle Ty jokes, looking at the both of us fondly.

"Well, that's the plan. I don't want him to get in." I pout at Uncle Ty. "Why did you have to grow up so fast and leave highschool?" I nudge Bryson, a glare on my face.

"Must be the hormones." He answers my question sarcastically.

"I hate you."
