~2 months later~

Lincoln's POV:

SMASH!

The sound of glass shattering echos through the mansion followed by Malachi yelling and cussing in multiple languages. My sweet Angel curls into herself the more he carries on. I wrap my arm around her as we watch tv with Jack and Asia. The first 2 weeks after we made love, we couldn't keep our hands off of each other. Then at the start of the third week all of his businesses had major issues. Since then Malachi's been on the war path and none of us have really seen our men. Someone has apparently been stealing thousands of dollars and no one caught it until the annual audit started. Many people have been fired or quit cause they are scared of Malachi. His other businesses started to struggle a week after the legit businesses began having issues.

Apparently 2 gun shipments were hijacked and their large monthly shipment was short by almost half. We didn't see our man for 5 days after that. It really upset Casey because of where he disappeared to
