Our Marriage

Aurora's Pov

I was listening to the music, which was Vdius's heartbeats since he hugged me tightly after fighting with the giant group of wolves. He was hugging me so tightly that I felt warm and protected in his arms. Just by his heartbeats, I could sense how scared he was.

Scared? For me? He's worried because of me?

I also hugged him slowly when suddenly, a tone broke the bubble of my thoughts.

"Don't you think you both should ask me if I'm alright or not? It's me who has been chased, not you two!"

Hearing the tone, I instantly pushed back Vdius and turned around when I noticed that girl sitting on the ground with a wolfsbane in her hand. Shit! She got hit by wolfsbane, and her hand is bleeding heavily.

I instantly pulled out the wolfsbane from her arm when a painful sob left her mouth. She didn't look too young,m or too old, just of my age.
