Chapter 116

Rooh's pov:

I heard some sounds and shuffling making my eyes to snap open. I sat up on the couch and then realized I slept here laying on the couch. I raised my head and saw Mikhail and Amelia walking inside the from gate. Her heels clicking against the floor. There was an odd kind of satisfaction on her face. I stood up from the couch and waited for them to reveal the results.

Mikhail came and stopped in front of me. He was looking everywhere but at me which my heart to clench thinking all the possible outcomes of his eyes not meeting mine. When he didn't say anything after a long time Amelia walked to me and handed me some files and I saw him balloon his fists.

I'm not feeling good now.

I opened the file impatiently and after reading every word of it my heart was shrinking more and more. Tears burned my eyes and soon started falling on file. The papers started getting wet but I cared less. My hands started trembling and my throat started feeling dry.
