Scarlett tittered at the look on Frederick's face. "Look, I've changed, haven't I?"

She stretched out a long leg. Her feet, which had earlier been in sky-high heels, were now in sneakers. She said half-seriously, "I'm a driver who abides by traffic rules. I can't drive in heels, can I?"

Frederick was speechless. "You told me not to look at you just because you wanted to change your shoes?"

She flipped her hair and smiled winningly. "What, are you disappointed? What did you want to see me change into?"

Frederick decided not to say anything else. He ignored her teasing.

Scarlett drove for a while when her expression suddenly turned grim. She was no longer the flirty, alluring woman from before. "The person I want you to treat has a rather special identity and means a lot to me. I hope you'll give this your best shot."
