Time is running!

The sun slowly woke up, to decorate the sky— showering the beings of Ephraim with its light and heat.

Inside the council room— in the depths of Castle Ephraim are ongoing arguments. The council room was already inundated with a cacophony of hopeless screams and the bangings of the tables.

"Who cares if he is dead? He was not even selected by us!" Muriel shouted her words out of her mouth. Veins were protruding visibly on the surface of her skin whilst her hands flew helplessly in the air. Her utters were highly persuasive and some of the members nodded in agreement with her statement.

"We have to follow the rules, Muriel. Adolphus had and has no right to sweep this under the carpet. Shame will fall upon our pack!" Sir Bernard advised while his eyes darted at Pierce's introverted figure seated in a chair next to him. Pierce remained quiet— his hands were quacking under the table.
