Steve's Thoughts.

After she escaped his clutches and rushed into the kitchen, Serene's mind was constantly filled with the flashes from the kissing scene. Her face was tainted with a bright shade of pink and she seemed to be in a daze.

She did not even realize when she took out the vegetables from the refrigerator and how she began cooking. Her heart was pounding within her chest and her head was messy. She could not think properly.

The kissing scene kept on reoccurring in her mind and she swallowed. She picked up a carrot and stood blankly without cutting it.

Why did he kiss me? Was the question that she kept on asking herself over and over again. She did not even find an answer to it instead, it was the man's face that popped into her mind. The feeling of not being able to control her thoughts was becoming scarier.

She raised her hand and touched her lips slightly, she flinched. It was almost as though she could feel the surreal sensation from the moment he kissed her again.
