Looking in the mirror I couldn’t help but think this was a bad idea. I hadn’t even been out of the house since Cody had threatened not only Lucas but myself as well. Now Lucas was insisting I join him at the club to make an appearance and let people know we were back together.

We had argued before he had left earlier. I didn’t see how it was anyone’s business what we did. In fact, we had never officially been a couple so we’d never officially gotten back together. Lucas hadn’t been too happy when I pointed that out and suddenly had to leave.
