FIVE YEARS AGO.
"Selene, get back here!" Selene had her husband holler from behind her but she paid him no heed and continued to descend the stair case.
"Selene!" Henry screamed as he came into view, hot on her tail.
"You can't change my mind, Henry. This is my body, my life and I would do whatever I want with it. It's none of your business." She snapped back, turning around to face him. Henry looked at his wife, coming to the conclusion that he obviously didn't know this woman.
"Your body?! Your life?! You are my wife for God's sake. Your body is my body and your life is your life! You are carrying my child, our child! This is not your decision to make." Henry said matter

HENRY'S POVThe beeping sound pulled me out of the silent comfort of sleep. I opened my eyes slowly, reaching out for the source of disturbance coming from the bed side table. It was Jewel's small digital clock that was sounding an alarm. I'd never get tired of hearing him say that.Suddenly, his phone began to ring, breaking the spell we were in and he groaned, walking away from me to the living room where his phone was. I dashed into the police station and went straight to the interrogation room where they were definitely questioning Selene, ignoring the calls of the police men that stood by the reception table. I got to the interrogation room and met Henry, with the DPO and Selene handcuffed. Henry looked at me in awe. "What are you doing here?" He asked me. "She still hasn't confessed." He chipped in, pointing to Selene who just sat motionless in the chair, her eyes blood shot from so much crying. I began to feel pity for her. "That's because she didn't do it." I revealed breathlessly, shocking the hell out of them. Henry's eyes widened. "What did you just say?""I know who did it." I said and he urged me to go on.
