Chapter 87 ~ Daniel Is Missing.

{Isla’s POV}

“I think General Cayden is waiting for you.” Andrea mouthed, turning back to look at me.

“Yeah. I already figured that out.” I said with a sudden frown. I didn’t like the fact that he was here.

What did he want to talk about?

Boast about how he fought to protect me from the Lycans during their attack? I already balanced things up by saving him too. And I even went as far as thanking him for his service.

So, what did he want?

Since Andrea and I had noticed him some distance away, we strolled in silence until we got to my Chamber, which was now seemingly guarded by Cayden as he stood boldly beside my Chamber guards with his arms crossed behind his back.

“General.”

“Your Highness.”

I turned to Andrea. “Check me again in five minutes. This will be quick.” I said to her and she bowed but spared Cayden a look before leaving.

What was that about?

I turned back to Cayden who spoke before I could. “I need to see you.”

“Well, here I am.”

“Privately.”

We were in my Chamber now
