Alpha Selene,

Reluctantly, Sebastian and Damon rose from the table, their eyes filled with intensity as they regarded me.

"As per your request, my lady," Sebastian whispered, offering a slight bow before departing. Meanwhile, Damon drummed his fingers on the dining table, a sign of his inner turmoil, before finally pinching the tip of his nose and voicing his thoughts.

"I'll grant you this reprieve solely because you uttered the word 'please'," he asserted, stepping nearer to me. His fingertips gently caressed my cheek, and I found myself leaning into his tender touch, momentarily losing myself as I closed my eyes.

'Could you possibly allow them to stay?' Snow pleaded, her voice filled with longing for one of her mates' touch. However, as I opened my eyes, I found the elders of Silverstone observing me with mischievous glances and smirks on their faces.

I swallowed quickly.
