Chapter 25: Two Voices

Cedric and Wyatt heaved a sigh of distress as the car slowly came to a stop at Cedric's garage.

The team had high hopes when they were leaving for the forest but in the end, it turns out that they won't even catch a glimpse of the enemies, not to mention taking care of the enemy and collecting the triplets from those bastard abductors.

Now how will they do this? How can they face Braelyn to tell her that compared to the enemies they were dealing with, they were far too inexperienced?

"What should we do now? I'm having this weird thought that the kidnappers are finally gone. Out of our reach." Wyatt facepalms himself with extreme distress.

Cedric fell quiet for a while before he also sighed. "I fear too." He uttered. After all, the kidnappers had done their mission and the last way to contact them had now vanished into thin air.

"Babies! Come to mom. Sage, Henry, Liam." Braelyn yelled at the top of her voice even before she arrived at the car, which made them sigh in distress.
