Chapter 51: Leaving

Elkie grinned widely. Her plan had worked as she wanted. Elkie had been with Cedric for years, and she knew the right ways to capture his attention.

Elkie knew that Cedric cherished their past and the agreement they had both made when Cédric parents were alive, so she knew he wouldn't let her down after all the memories she had made him remember

And now the most important thing is to let Braelyn leave Cedric's side. As long as Braelyn is next to Cedric, that will make Elkie uneasy because Braelyn is a threat to her almost perfect relationship with Cedric.

"Elkie?" Cedric stretched his neck slightly and stared at the sleeping Elkie. Elkie had begged to follow him to the office telling him about how she misses hanging out in the office back when Cedric's father was alive

Cedric sighed and walked toward the bedroom in his office. He picked up a neat blanket before leaving the bedroom.

He tucked a strand of Elkie's hair only for his eyes to darken as if he had just thought of something.
