"Cedric, I'm here!" Elkie called happily and entered Cedric's office holding a lunch box. She stared at Cedric, who was working in the office. "Have you eaten? I'm sure you haven't eaten yet. Look, I brought you food." She declares happily

Cedric looked at the happy Elkie, and he couldn't feel any bit of excitement. He wondered if he could push on with the marriage with her since Braelyn had long taken over his mind.

"Thank you." He replied and collected the food from her. He pointed toward the opposite chair. "Sit down, Braelyn." His eyes widened slightly due to the mistake he had just made. "I'm sorry, Elkie." He uttered with an apologetic gaze.

Elkie dropped the food, her face turned cold due to anger. "Cedric, what's wrong with you? Did you like Braelyn that much? If you like her, then go chase after her. How many times have you called me Braelyn in the last two weeks, are you crazy?" She shrieked with anger.

Cedric stood up and sighed in regret. He tried to hold Elkie's hand, but
