Chapter 83: Cedric's Fear

Leox took out his prepared contract. Since he and Elkie will be partners for a while, he needs her to sign a confidential agreement with its content saying that all that they'll do and say in the future won't be leaked out by either party, or else whoever betrays the agreement will have to pay for it. "I hope you don't mind Miss Elkie," Leox smirked at Elkie and stretched the document toward her.

Elkie fell into deep thoughts. After a few minutes, she shook her head and picked up the document. "As long as the terms are fair, I'll have no problem signing it." She replied seriously and opened the document.

After casually skimming through the document, Elkie placed it on the table without bothering to read it further. "I won't be signing the contract today because I've to read the terms and make sure it's fair on each side," Elkie said and looked at him seriously.

Leox stood up and nodded his head in approval. He liked that Elkie's anxiety about ending Braelyn wasn't getting the best
