Breaking Free

Aira stepped out of the meeting room with a sigh.

“I can’t believe you did that,” she told Vincent as she turned around to look at him.

“They were getting on my nerves. Those old geezers needed someone to put them in their place.” Vincent said with a frown as if couldn’t believe that they would say something like that.

“Still, this project is important to you and you’ve been trying to convince them for days. We were almost there, why did you have to snap at them in the middle of the negotiation?”

“Because they were being greedy. Did you hear what they were asking? Aira they were asking you to give up your profit in order for them to agree to keep the project going,” he said. He sounded outraged at the notion.

“It was to be expected after announcing how much profit I will be making out of this,” Aira explained and Vincent sighed.
