Family Vacation

One day later, the same police officers came back to the Hart residence during breakfast.

"Good morning, Miss. We have terrible news. Last night, your bodyguard and his crew died mysteriously."

Died?

Lydia was taken aback. How did her family do it? Who was helping them in the shadows?

"Weren't they under police custody? How could they be murdered then?" Lydia asked while pretending to look very depressed.

"Miss, last night, there was a power outage at the station, and by the time the lights came back on, they were all dead. We suspect someone hired skilled assassins to sneak into the station and murder them." The first officer stated while vigilantly observing everyone’s expressions.

"Yes. We suspect that it was one of their acquaintances on their line of business. The person was probably scared of being ratted out and hence, decided to murder them all." The second officer added.

At this point, the other Hart family members were relieved.
