I grinned at all the stores spanned out before me, feeling the familiar excitement that always came over me at the prospect of shopping. I did not care about a lot of things in this world. Shopping, well, that was certainly on the things I cared about. It was a way for me to get lost in the intricacies of the normal world rather than the horrid life I truly lived.

"Mrs. Zolotov, I must remind you that we are yet to get the Pakan's express directive to allow you to be here."

One of the bodyguards I had coerced into bringing me stated, reminding me of the small issue to my plan. An issue I could simply sort out.
