"Have we met before?" He asked again, this time

The words struck a chord in my mind and I wanted to scream, 'Yes idiot, we've met before at that sleeky hotel where you took me without my permission and promised to make it up to me.'

However, one look in his eyes and my anger dissipated.

"Have we met before, miss?" He repeated, this time his hands tightly held my shoulders.

My heart skipped several beats at his question and my legs almost gave way, but I held myself back and took deep breaths.

I can't let him know that we've met before. Who knows what he'll do to keep his dirty deed under the ground?

What if he kills me?

Could he do that? I took another look at the handsome man before me. He looked like he had walked out of a painting. He was just too handsome for this world.
