Finn's pov

I placed my eyes on Everest all through and could tell she was a novice. But even at that she was fierce and brave.

Day after day, I watched her practice all the moves I taught her, even though she wasn't perfect, she was rather determined.

She was incredibly awesome and I never thought she could be so smart to have captured each step bit by bit. It was a good thing she didn't know about my identity else, she might feel uncomfortable around me.

Everything was in place as we moved on to regular training for the duel. As Everest was to prepare for combat, she didn't give up. I saw the compassion she had towards practice and it made me confident that she could make it.

I was passing by, when I heard them mention Everest's name. This caught my attention. I was eager to know what the gossip was all about. I paused a bit and moved aside to eavesdrop on them.

They are classy and rich princesses from the other pack. They were daughters of one of the most well known Alph
