Chapter 42

"Uumphh!" Grunting, I pull my body up until my eyes reach over the sill of the window at the back of the warehouse which is pretty much broken. And when I do, the first thing I see is Devin! He is standing there talking with a few other men about something that maybe important because of their expressions on their faces. But I can't possibly hear anything from here. After trying to find some other ways to eavesdrop their conversation, I give up. Mainly due to the physical pain and pressure I am feeling right now 'cause I am literally hanging onto the broken window, and now my hands seem to be giving up too. Oh, no! What else will I do? I have somehow climbed over the wall but now if I jump from here, it will surely do some damage and also it will cause some unnecessary noise which may be enough to alert the men inside, which I don't want. Either that, or I jump over the window all the way to the inside of the warehouse. And if I do that, I will have to kill them but that is not an op
