Chapter 52

Darin's POV

*Creak*

The door of this room opens with a slight creak and I clench my eyes because of the unwanted noise that fills the hallway of the mansion. Damn this door! I don't need anyone getting up due to the noise in the middle of the night. And to think that the room just next to me belongs to Mr. Baidwani. I shudder visibly just at the thought of him getting out of his room and standing infront of me, wide awake with his chiselled jaw clenched and ripped muscled arms crossed against his built up chest. The fact that he has allowed me to stay over the night in this mansion is enough already.

Quietly moving out of the room where I am staying, I tiptoe towards the staircase and climb up as sneakily as possible. Once I reach on the first floor, I open the door to her room. There she is, lying on her bed sleeping peacefully. Just the way she was when we first saw her on that hospital bed. Only that now no frown etches on her face.
