Chapter 144 : Harrison group

After ten minutes Paula opened the door with her puffy eyes. Zara heaved a sigh and hugged her tightly. Richard stood dumbstruck at the side staring at Zara like she was a ghost.

“I am sorry darling. I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I am scared to come back. I am really scared. I never thought of hurting you”

Zara sobbed on Paula’s shoulder pouring out her worries. Paula hardened her expression and pushed Zara away.

“Don’t ever come to my door step. I don’t have a friend named Zara Jones. She’s dead a year ago. She left me without a word and I am still grieving. Good bye”

Paula could never forgive Zara for hiding the truth. How can she not come to her when she was alive? Doesn’t she knew her absence is unbearable?
