STRANGE

Sometimes I feel strange

Sometimes I feel put of place

And when I look around

It becomes more true

I see people playing with ease

In my mind I wish I can join in

But then, even if I join in

I would still feel out of place

No one is like me.

That's because I'm different

That's because I'm unique

I am not just an ordinary girl

Because if you look closer

You will see I am more than that

No one is like me

While other girls care about fashion

I care about the next novel I'll read

While other girls watch pitch perfect

I am comfortable lying on the couch

Watching my action movies

Movies that girls think are lame.

But power rangers is not lame

And when my friends are talking

Talking of the new dress in town

I'm thinking of the new and old

Funny cartoons in town.

Its fun being strange

At least no one is like me

And no one can claim to be like me.

Its perfect for me.
