Stone’s POV

“If we get to the air strip before Tristian and Leon, we can try that move Joey and them taught us,” Joshua says.

“Yeah, Tellie taught me, we just have to pop the tires,” Slate says.

I am driving. I flinch when Slate talks about Tellie. In a year and a half, they will have their Alpha/Luna Ceremony, where they will mark each other. Slate can’t wait.

But it makes me think of Bella. She is living her life in New York. The warriors who are protecting her tell me how much she smiles. They send me pictures whenever I ask for them. She isn’t dating and seems to surround herself with females most days. Expect when her boys are in town.

“Hey, you with us, Lighting Alpha?” Joshua asks. “Reggie is ready to play.”

“Tell Reggie to simmer down. Let’s not get too excited. The bastards have gotten away too many times to let us get cocky,” I remind them.

We pull up and we are early. Tristian’s plane is still taxiing to the fuel truck.
