89- Ending a Threat

Spencer’s POV

“Talk to me,” I say, looking him in the eye.

“Okay, I think Whitmere helped set this up to bring forth Claudia. Whitmere knew Dawn had a wolf, she was sure of it. Only two people have visited Whitmere since her capture. The nurse Langston to treat her wounds and her daughter Natalie. I think one of them got word to Evelyn to come get Bella and whoever called Evelyn’s showed the warriors the Saferoom entrance,” Matthew lays it out.

I mull it over and it’s not too far out there, “Do you have any proof yet?”

“I have phone records,” Matthew hands me his tablet.

“Both of them called Easton,” I say confused. Matthew nods.

“So they both did it?” Dawn asks.

“Looks like it. I don’t think killing Uncle Steven and Aunt Ki was the original plan. The reports from the new doctor says they tried to use non-lethal means on the warriors too. But the warriors fought hard. Our warriors only lost because they were drugged first.”
