Sophia Censatio

The hard glare I received from her made me shut my mouth. "Just go in and pick up your bag. We're leaving." She said.

" But I-"

" Now, Sophia" She added. I rushed into my office, pick up my bag and walk out to meet her.

"Can you be truthful to me? For how long has this been going on? I mean, for how long has he been treated in such a manner? He has been threatening you, right?" She questioned me.

We just got to the cafeteria opposite Aaron's office.

"Th... Threatened?! No, he would never thin-" she cut me off before I could finish lying.

"Stop lying to me, Sophia. I don't appreciate those who lie." She warned me.

I don't know what has come over me all of a sudden. Why am I trying to protect him in presence of his mom? Despite all he has done to me.

Why am I like this all of a sudden? Or, was it because I was convinced earlier that I felt something for him? Is that the reason why I'm like this?
