“What is wrong with her?” Tay asks the doctor who I learned is Hector. After Carmen collapsed, Tay called the family doctor, so now we are in his parent's room watching the doctor examine Carmen. The next morning, I woke up early. I drag myself to the bathroom and take a shower. I put on shorts and a blouse, then leave my hair cascading down my shoulders. I put on my slippers and walk down the stairs to the kitchen.
