Her walk home took almost thirty minutes. She stopped at a few points to relax , take in her surroundings. She wanted to spend her all night outside in such a beautiful weather. Just what she wanted. But she had to go home and also ask her two stupid bestfriends why they thought it was wide to leave her there alone at the party.

She was confused why would they do that. She couldn't find any answer on her own. So thought better to ask them only.

Three knocks and the door was wide open by a confused looking Mia.

" Hey, Scarlett" Mia greeted.

" Don't hey me . Why the heck you guys left me there all alone? Huh ?"

Scarlett demanded. She was controlling her anger inside and also was too tired to  actually shout at those two idiots.

" But we didn't leave you alone." Katherine said the moment they entered inside.

" Oh sure." Scarlett scoffed.

"We didn't. Weren't you supposed to stay with Sean?" Katherine asked.

"Sean? Why would I stay  with Sean?

Scarlett questioned. She didn't know why would she be with Sean of all the people.

Mia and Katherine shared a look with each other. They knew they were in trouble but in their defence Carson told them Sean was gonna confess his feelings to her and would drop her afterwards if she wanted. They knew they messed up .

Mia started, " Umm .... What ..what exactly happened?"

" What do you mean what happened Mia? You know what, just leave it. I'm tired. Gonna sleep. Good night. "

Scarlett said walking away to her room.

She was tired. She didn't even change her clothes. The moment she closed her eyes, sleep took over.

Mia and Katherine were feeling bad. They didn't exactly know what happened after they left but they didn't want to hurt her. They just wanted her to enjoy her college life and have boyfriend and find love . They planned to make breakfast next morning which will be consisting of all Scar's favourites.

Scarlett woke up to knocking at her door. Her eyes wandered off to the wall clock hanging above the window. It showed eleven in the morning. Looking at the window answered why she didn't wake up because of sunrays as the curtains were drawn in . She usually draws them out at night.  With a sleepy face, she got off the bed and walked to the door. The moment the door opened, she was greeted by two smiley faces of her bestfriends.

They pushed her towards the table beside the kitchen door which was filled with chocolates, chocolate truffles, chocolate mousses, choco chip cookies, chocolate muffins , hot chocolate, chocolate shake too, everything on the table had chocolate in it.

"Umm....it's nice. Scarlett said dumbfound at the sight in front of her.

On noticing, she saw both Mia and Katherine were wearing aprons and had spots of melted chocolate, flour, Cream on it .

A wide smile appeared on Scarlett's face which soon turned into a full blown laugh on seeing their state .

But she was appreciative they did all this.

" Wow!

Scarlett, you are laughing at us. How mean." Mia pouted .

" I cannot believe it Scar, we woke up early to do it for you and here you are doing what, laughing?" Katherine said in fake anger and mischief in her eyes .

Soon Scarlett was covered in flour from head to too looking like a joker in her dress from the night before. Scar took eggs from the side and threw them at Katherine which didn't miss its target. Mia got tomato sauce on her thrown by Kat whose actual target was Katherine.

All three girls were laughing  with their heads thrown back and clothes covered in eggs, flour , sauce, chocolate.

They are their breakfast quite fast and now were heading to couch to have their movie marathon. It was Sunday so that meant a movie day for them. They all settled down . Scar and Kat were on the couch and Mia was beside the leg of the couch on the blankets spread. They chose Harry potter this time being Scarlett's favourite too as they wanted to know about last night.

They were halfway into the second movie when Mia called Scar.

" Scar, what happened last night? And please don't lie. You know you can tell us."

Katherine also turned her attention towards the two.

" Nothing happened Mia. Just drop it." Scarlett muttered but the other two heard her clearly.

Mia insisted, " Scar, please, we care for you. You didn't particularly look happy last night when you returned. You know you can tell us anything. We are sorry for leaving you alone. Listen, Carson told us that Sean was going to finally confess his feelings to you and that's why we thought you would be with Sean. So if you weren't with him and he didn't drop you off, what happened then ?"

Katherine also nodded her head towards Scarlett in a gesture agreeing with Mia.

Scarlett didn't want to remember anything from last night but she also didn't want to leave her two bestfriends in the dark. After all they never hide anything from each other.

Scarlett sighed," Mia, Kat Sean took me for a house tour . We went to his room and..."

"And...?" Mia added.

"And he...um...we sat on his bed. We talked . Then he started touching me inappropriately. You guys know how I don't like anyone touching me. It irritates me like nothing else. I pushed him away and ran out of the house."Scarlett completed.

" We are really sorry Scar. We didn't know he would be like this . I thought he genuinely like you." Katherine said feeling bad for letting this happen.

Mia stood up. She was fuming . She knew Scarlett hates anyone touching her. She went up to table and tools her car keys.

Kat and Scarlett knew what she was up to. They also stood up and tried to convince her not to go to Sean and do any kind of damage which mostly involved trashing his house, breaking his car windows, putting sticky paint all over his driveway.

After a lot of convincing, she calmed down . But now Scarlett was worried. She wanted to make sure Sean's head was alright. She thought of talking to him in college the next day.

The rest of the day they spent watching movies, eating tubs of ice cream , Oreos and finishing all chocolate in the house.

Scarlett felt better. They all felt better.

At night, all retired to their rooms . Mia went home as she came in the morning, also Talia was already home in the noon.

Scarlett was sitting close to her window on the small platform made beside the window. Moon was looking beautiful that night.  Still she didn't feel that familiar serenity she always felt looking at the moon. She was restless, not knowing why, like waiting for something to happen, knowing something is going to happen . She felt as if her life is about to change. Shoving all these thoughts away, she retired for the night. Hope everything stays normal.
