“Your best friend is Chadwick Simmons, right?” James asks me as he drives through the city. The traffic is very light and also nonexistent today.

“Yeah...how do you know that?” I ask him and he snorts.

“I am a very well informed man, Jen. I do my research.” He says and he glances at me for a second before returning his eyes to the road.

“Chadwick Simmons is practically the best IT person in the world...at least in my personal opinion.” He adds and I smile.

“He is known for his skills all over the world, and he is beyond wealthy.” James continues.

Well, he’s not wealthy anymore. All our accounts are frozen, and all the money we had on hand were used for his brother that is sick in London.

“Yeah, he’s amazing.” I agree with James and he notices that my mood has dropped.

A full minute passes between us without anyone talking as James weave through cars on the freeway.

“Do you have other plans for the day?” He asks
