Beatrice breathed in as she drew closer to Ben's table and dropped his cup of coffee on the desk, his hot looks were doing justice to her the more she stayed in his office.

“Good morning, sir,” Beatrice greeted meekly, but didn't get any response.

'Well, if he sees to it, not to be responding to my greetings, then I better stop wasting my vocals to be greeting him,' Beatrice thought annoyingly, giving him a sneering look while he was focused on typing on his keyboard as she turned around gradually about to go to her seat.

“Get prepared for the meeting coming up in the next thirty minutes, you're accompanying me,” Ben's deep voice stopped in her tracks as she scoffed and marched off to her seat, without a response.

'Beatrice, you know he's your boss, and you need to stop acting all grumpy towards him all the time, show him that respect for Christ's sake,' Her mind scolded her.

'I'm trying, but he's making it all so difficult for me too,' Beatrice argued stubbornly in her subconscious
