“Aah!” Beatrice yawned for the sixth time, and tap her left palm continuously over her mouth. After the meeting ended with the Domino limited company, Beatrice began walking towards the elevator when her smartphone rang on the files she was holding in her arms.She stared at the caller ID and realized it was the housing agent who linked her in renting her current penthouse apartment.'Why is he calling?' It was noon and Beatrice was contemplating how to ask for permission from Ben, it was her break time and Mr. Shawn had sent the address where they'll be meeting to her an hour ago.Beatrice drew her chair backward and stood up from her seat, her eyes glued on Ben who was typing on the keyboard, his eyes fixed on the screen of the computer.She walked over to him, sucking in her breath, and stood right in front of his desk, her hands clamped in front of her.“Excuse me, sir,” Beatrice cleared her throat, eyeing him anxiously after getting Ben's attention, who then darted his gaze from the screen of the computer to her face.“How may I help you?” He questioned, leaning back in his seat and swiveling his seat to her position.“Uhm! Beatrice threw her hair into a messy bun as she walked into the kitchen, she sighed staring at how lovely the kitchen was, and right now, what she was thinking about is how to make her next move.With her current job as a secretary, she can't keep up with that amount of money to pay for house rent, and again her pride won't let her ask anyone for money to help except her parents, and she wants to avoid bothering them too.She plodded tiredly to the fridge in the kitchen and wanted to have a soda drink and got disappointed with herself when she opened the door of the fridge and couldn't find any drinks inside the fridge, just bottled water.'I need to make time and go to the grocery store,' She frowned inwardly, she had been telling herself that for like two weeks now without taking a step to the grocery store and now all her foodstuffs had completely gone dry.'I guess I will go for water instead,' She thought and grabbed a bottle of water, she opened the lid and gulped down the cold

Beatrice got to the office very early in the morning, she has some work to do before she asks Ben for permission to meet a new realtor, Lady Zara told her about.“It's 7:30,” She muttered as she glanced at her wristwatch and then stared at Ben's empty seat, she has been in the office for some minutes to seven in the morning.'Is he not coming to work?' Beatrice thought when Ben hadn't come into the office, she sighed and stood up, telling herself not to bother since it wasn't too late for him to come to work, after all, he's the boss, and she is the one who came very early to work.'Let me make his coffee before he comes,' She told herself and stood up from her seat, she arranged the files on her table neatly and proceeded to walk out of the office.The elevator tinged as soon as she got to the second floor and the elevator door opened, Beatrice inhaled sharply, flapping her long hair to the back, and began walking towards the coffee machine, her hips swayed and rocked slightly in the

“Are you okay?” Ben asked worriedly as he rushed over to Beatrice, who was trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to trickle down her face.'Why does he have to do it?'' Why did he have to come to my aid when I didn't need it? He would be the last person I would ask help from?' Beatrice fumed, she was angry and sad at the same time.Angry that Ben went behind her back to do something he wasn't supposed to do, and sad that she didn't deserve such a gesture from him because of the way she had treated him.How did he know about this?
