VENNETTA’S POINT OF VIEW

The door opened immediately and a smile crossed my lips when a maid stood at the other side , she had a foreign look at first but then her tone changed to a friendly one and i guessed it was when she realized it had been me.

“Good evening, Ma’am. Sorry, I wasn’t expecting you.” She gave an apologetic smile and moved away from the door, giving me and the girls enough space to come in.

“Yeah, it came abruptly.” I responded and i saw her bowing to Ava, Mia and Jane as they came into the empty living room with us. “Where are the kids?”

The maid which had the name Amelia on her outfit in a tag turned towards the door by the right, the passage way that lead to all doors, room, kitchens and all. “They are in Elena’s room.”

“All of them?” I asked, my brows turning in confusion and she giggle a bit. “But they should be preparing for bed by now.”

“Yes ma’am, but they wouldn’t let me in either. Would you like me to get you anything?” She asked
