Declaring war

Lucas’s point of view:

As we landed, the first thing I did was to go - and check on my mate. I mean, it would be hard for her to deal with all that’s happening lately.

Surprisingly, when I did - No one was at the apartment where she was supposed to live. I broke inside the flat to make sure that what I was thinking about was all wrong, and that my mate was not gone–she just wasn’t in her place at the right moment.

Unfortunately, nothing was left there. All her belongings and the baster’s ones were nowhere to be seen.

My hand was clenched into a curvy fist as I was now attacking the closet wall next to me.

I called my company lawyer to see if there was anything in the contract that she signed with us, and that would be able to drag her back in here. But there wasn’t. The shooting for this season is over, and she won’t be shooting until the upcoming season.

I let my hands pass through my head while breathing in and out.
