The white rose

Stephanie's point of view:

It was dark, but a sudden flash of light showed up from nowhere, and a deafening sound accompanied the lightning. Fear found its way to get through me. I've tried to block the sounds by covering my ears using my hands, but it was too stronger than what I could handle.

I was trapped, and I couldn't tell if it's an actual dream or an incident. Time made sense no more, I was lost in the past with no present or future. Suddenly, everything stops. I was no longer lost in the darkness.

Instead, I was in the middle of a forest. I felt safe for an instant, the sun was shining brightly while the sky looked perfectly peaceful. Lost in my thoughts I was until a scream interrupted my peaceful moment.

I couldn't assume if I was stupid or brave, but I decided to check on it. A few steps forward and two young people were set in my view.
