Seeing the lawkers mansion once again brought many memories back. The night I first met Vetino and the same night I encountered Dimitri’s mate. Ever since then, a lot has changed. 

The execution was held behind their house, out of human’s eyes to see. I felt sick just thinking about it.

To my utter surprise, many people stood near the empty wooden stage with only a wood board and ropes on each side and a sharp, shining heavy ax on the headman’s hands. 

Their shattering was loud and I could taste the waves of disgust and hatred rolling of them as they spoke with each other about the common subject, the former Alpha and Luna, and how Vetino got what he deserved. They clearly loved them dearly. I even heard a few speaking about me, most of them sounded worried and even caring about what happened. I was really glad to know that my presence as their Luna was being accepted.
