Chapter 32 - Heat 2

I woke up with the morning sunlight streaming through the window. A low pain was rising in my belly. It was not hunger, though I was hungry, a different kind of desire was overpowering my need for sustenance.

"Mate! Where is our mate?" Lana hissed to me. I could feel her trying to break out. I was soon hot and sweaty. 

"Good morning sweetheart," Lucian's familiar voice made me snap.

He was walking towards me from the kitchen area, holding 2 cups of steaming coffee, He had pulled on his shorts but otherwise, he was shirtless. I stared at him hungrily. He smirked then sat down next to me, placing the cups on the side table. How was it possible to look do devilishly handsome right out of the bed? Maybe, it was because of the heat.

"How are you feeling now?" He said, tucking a damp lock of hair behind my ear.
