"Where are the contract documents?" I asked immediately after his smirk, and he looked at me with admiration and then suddenly smirked in return.

"Wouldn't you think twice about it and the danger you are getting into?" Beta Alex asked me, staring at the document in his hands as he shoved one of his hands back into his pocket ,while he slowly took his face from the document and then glared at me, awaiting my response.

"There is no Danger in it; meanwhile, run a background check on her, who she is, and who her family is; do it immediately and get back to me, "I said, watching him stare at me.

"Okay, boss, don't you think she should be given some decent privacy for now? I mean, she doesn't know you to be her mate yet, and she doesn't know about your world, either. I don't think we do." Alex said to me. He paused and stared at me with a worried look on his face.

"And your dad, he is the most dangerous of it all, especially with your recent bad records; he might even want to take her down
