ONCE A SISTER, NOW A RIVAL

Not too far away Mo Yanyan was watching her leave and a cold smirk appeared on her face. She was one of those artists who were suppressed by Qin Yue, though it was not intentional. For last few years the company only focused on nurturing Qin Yue, all the best resources would be given to her and Mo Yanyan was roughly neglected. Though Mo Yanyan was popular but she couldn't beat her as she remained as the company's first preference. But for some reason Qin Yue was receiving constant failures in her career which gave Mo Yanyan a head start and now when she has finally left the company she would be naturally at the advantage as no other artist in the company was as popular as she was now.

The result was instant as her manager was getting loads of works lined up for her, the resources which once belonged to that witch were now hers. She was delighted to see this and happily said to her manager, "Zhu Jie, isn't it great that the witch has stepped down!"

Zhu Ruchu was not only Mo Yanyan's manager but was also her distinct cousin so she was naturally very happy to see her sister's career advance, "Hmmm, you are right. It seems the company is looking forward to you as they have handed over varieties of resources to us." Mo Yanyan looked at her phone screen and replied with utter determination, "Finally they have understood my value. I am not going to waste this God gifted opportunity; am going to show that Senior Song who the biggest fish in the pond is."

Once they were in the same company and she couldn't attack her directly but now she had no ties with her. Once they were sisters from the same agency but now they were rivals, there was no stopping her.

Her meeting with NC's officials still had time so Qin Yue took a cab back to her home and after eating lunch had a little nap. She didn't know why but she was a little unsettled, her heart was in a chaos today. An unknown emotion was erupting in her heart making it hard for her to sleep. What was this feeling- she thought to herself. At last when she had no definite answer she dismissed her thought by saying that those were just nervousness.

Within a blink of an eye it was time for her to get ready; she washed up and wore a simple outfit with her hairs tied up into a ponytail in which she looked young and beautiful. When there were still fifteen minutes to be 6pm she caught a cab and reached the company.

Because it was not a rush hour, so she managed to reach the company within ten minutes. An incredible feeling welled up within her; joining NC company was one of her teenage fantasy. When she first set her heart to be an actress she always wanted to be enlisted as an artist of this very agency. And when she became one she did try to get in NC but since she was a newbie they refused to take her in.

She was a little disappointed about it but she couldn't blame the higher ups, NC only took in the best of the best and she had yet to become a star. The CEO of Golden Age scouted her since they were also raw as her and since she had potential they nurtured her. But when she started to perform well NC started to drop up and it took no time for them to be forgotten.

Golden Age were taking good care of her and Li Jin too became her good friend so she found no reason to give up on everything and run back to NC. But whatever it was, NC held a special place in her heart as it was the dream of her adolescence.

Reminiscing about her adolescence a certain person too crossed her mind and she suddenly stopped on her tracks. It's been a long time since she had seen him, after what happened that day he had practically disappeared from her life and she too didn't bother to look for him but it was an undeniable fact that she missed him more than anything. She always prevented herself from remembering him, but now he had abruptly flashed in her mind, her eyes involuntarily welled up and she hid herself in the community washroom outside the agency building.

He was her only weakness and she hated to be weak; only she knew how much hurt she was back then. What happened back then was her own choice so she forced herself not to regret it. It was for her own good, she had to be strong.

She quickly composed herself and looked at the mirror to fix her makeup which was ruined due to her sudden emotional outbreak. It took her only two minutes to get calm and after she completely forgot about him did she finally step out. She walked towards the company with an elegant smile plastered on her face; in her way in she spotted a paparazzi lurking behind the shadows of a tree not too far away from the company. The paparazzo clearly saw her and was stunned.

Wasn't she Goddess Qin Yue, an artist of Golden Age? What is she doing at NC? Could it be…?

If what he had predicted was true then it will be huge news. So without giving it a second thought he started to take several photographs of her. Getting attention felt really great, since her changing companies was meant to be confessed to people at some point she thought there was no need for her to hide anymore. In fact, the sooner, the better. So she stopped at her tracks, faced the paparazzi and smiled at him.

The paparazzi was super happy, her giving him stills did really conformed his guesses. He looked at the stunning pictures he had captured just now and immediately rushed back to his workplace.
