You didn’t give me a birthday present. So, I’m angry with you.

You didn’t even give me any of your nice birthday wishes. Hmmph!”

Chloe spoke in feigned anger. She’s been around the man for quite some time, and the two have grown fonder and closer compared to her father’s other aides.

Boris eyed the cocky little girl with pouty lips and asked, “Would you still be angry with me after I tell you I didn’t breathe a single word about the incident at the bar to your father?” He knew that was the only place he could corner her, and he was right.
