Ch 80: Tired

“Who was that?”

Declan probed his friend as soon as the nurse stepped out of the ward. At least, he thought she was a nurse, as no doctor would be doing ward rounds to feed medicine to patients when a nurse was already tasked to do that.

Her movements had a certain familiarity to them, but she held back a little, noticing that they were not alone. At least Declan saw through their acts. Even when she left, Leonardo had a beautiful smile plastered on his lips, his look was also a dreamy one that he had never seen on his face before.

“She’s one of the doctors here, Declan. Stop playing Mr. Cupid.” Leonardo fired at his friend, worried that Declan had already seen through his facade.

“A doctor is attending to you now, huh?
